  • Real Madrid were outplayed for the majority of the first leg but are somehow still in the contest after a 4-3 defeat. They wrapped up the league title at the weekend with a 4-0 win at home so will be full of confidence and in a good mood heading into Wednesday’s second leg.
  • Real Madrid have only lost three times at home all season and two of those have fallen in their last four, including at home to Chelsea in the last round of the Champions League. Manchester City also won at the Bernabeu last season and are unbeaten away from home in all competitions since December. City are the better side and should go through but there will no doubt be drama along the way.
