  • Thomas Tuchel has revealed everyone but Ben Chilwell trained on Friday ahead of Sunday’s Carabao Cup final.
  • That means Mateo Kovacic and Hakim Ziyech are fine after coming off injured against Lille earlier in the week.
  • Callum Hudson-Odoi is therefore available and Reece James could make the matchday squad for the first time in 2022.
  • Mason Mount returned from an ankle injury in midweek but may have to settle for a place on the bench at Wembley.
  • Out of form Romelu Lukaku was dropped and didn’t even come on against Lille raising doubts whether he will start Sunday’s final.
  • Christian Pulisic scored in midweek and will hope to keep his place in the team alongside Kai Havertz and Christian Pulisic.
  • Andreas Christensen and Trevoh Chalobah are battling to start in defence if Thomas Tuchel goes with a back three.
  • Diogo Jota is on track to return from an ankle injury to make Sunday’s Carabao Cup final but Roberto Firmino looks set to miss out. New signing Luis Diaz is on standby to start if Jota isn’t fit enough.
  • Jurgen Klopp has already confirmed Caoimhin Kelleher will start in goal in the final and not usual first-choice Alisson.
