- Romelu Lukaku will be brought back into the squad in midweek after being dropped at the weekend following positive clear-the-air talks with Thomas Tuchel on Monday.
- Timo Werner is doing much better are struggling with COVID but will only make the bench at best here.
- Andreas Christensen is still a doubt with a back injury, while Ben Chilwell and Reece James continue to miss out.
- Trevoh Chalobah limped off in Chelsea’s 2-2 draw with Liverpool on Sunday and has been ruled out here.
- Tuchel went with youth in the last round of the Carabao Cup but will turn to more experience here now they’ve reached the last four.
- Callum Hudson-Odoi and Christian Pulisic are options at right wing-back, though Cesar Azpilicueta may move out there with Malang Sarr starting. Saul Niguez may also be required at left wing-back to rest Marcos Alonso.
- Jorginho was benched against Liverpool and will push for a recall here, though Mateo Kovacic and N’Golo Kante were outstanding at the weekend and Tuchel will be tempted to go with the pair again here.
- Edouard Mendy left for AFCON after Sunday’s game so Kepa will take over in goal for the rest of the month. Hakim Ziyech wasn’t included in the Morocco squad.
- Antonio Conte has no further injury concerns to worry about, with Cristian Romero, Ryan Sessegnon and Steven Bergwijn all ruled out.
- Conte may make changes to his XI here, with the likes of Matt Doherty, Japhet Tanganga and Harry Winks all starting.
- Bryan Gil is also pushing for a start having featured from the bench in each of Tottenham’s last three games.
