  • Harvey Elliott was stretchered off at Leeds on Sunday after sustaining a serious ankle injury and he joins Roberto Firmino and Neco Williams on the sidelines.
  • Jordan Henderson is expected to come in for Elliott in the midfield in what may be Jurgen Klopp’s only change for the welcome of AC Milan.
  • Olivier Giroud is in line to return to the AC Milan XI after a recent bout of COVID-19, but faces competition from Ante Rebic for a starting spot.
  • Zlatan Ibrahimovic won’t make the trip to England after feeling some tightness around his Achilles tendon.
  • Midfielders Tiemoue Bakayoko and Rade Krunic both miss out, which should pave the way for Franck Kessie to partner Sandro Tonali in the middle of the park once more.
  • Alessandro Florenzi started the Lazio win on the right, though Alexis Saelemakers is set to return to the side.
  • Alessio Romagnoli and Simon Kjaer are battling to partner Fikayo Tomori at the heart of the defence.
