Football 17/8/2021 – Huddersfield v Preston North End
- Carlos Corberan could make just two changes in midweek with Scott High and Pipa both in contention for recalls.
- The absence of any defensive squad depth means that we’re likely to see the same back three that shipped five against Fulham again here.
- Lewis O’Brien, Josh Ruffels and Harry Toffolo are all unavailable as they continue to isolate with COVID-19.
- Tom Barkhuizen is isolating with COVID-19 so wont be available, but striker Ched Evans has recovered from a knock and should return up top.
- Declan Rudd could return in between the sticks after Daniel Iversen struggled against Reading, while Ben Whiteman could return to the midfield.

Football 17/8/2021 – Millwall v Fulham
- Jake Cooper returned to action on Saturday afternoon, but the London club will be without club captain and centre-back partner Shaun Hutchinson who suffered a quad injury in training.
- The home side should line up unchanged in midweek with first-choice right-back Mahlon Romeo still sidelined.
- Summer signing Harry Wilson was shown a straight red card on Saturday afternoon and will miss the short trip across London on Tuesday night.
- Andre-Frank Zambo-Anguissa was a shock inclusion on the bench against Huddersfield and could start in midweek.
- Ivan Cavaleiro bagged two goals as a substitute on Saturday afternoon and will be the man to replace the suspended Wilson out wide.
