Premier League 14/4/2021 – Borussia Dortmund v Manchester City
- Curtis Jones is a minor doubt for Liverpool, while Divock Origi and Caoimhin Kelleher will be assessed, though neither will have featured anyway.
- Joel Matip, Virgil van Dijk, Jordan Henderson and Joe Gomez again miss out due to injury.
- Jurgen Klopp may make one change from the first leg loss with Thiago replacing Naby Keita in the middle of the park.
- Sergio Ramos was already sidelined for Wednesday’s game with a knee injury but has now tested positive for COVID-19. Raphael Varane remains out with COVID as well,
- Nacho and Eder Militao will continue at centre-back with Raphael Varane also still unavailable for Real Madrid.
- Dani Carvajal and Eden Hazard are also sidelined, while Lucas Vazquez came off in the first half of El Clasico, with Alvaro Odriozola expected to deputise at right-back.
- Zinedine Zidane elected to start Federico Valverde on the right in El Clasico, but after his fine outing against Liverpool, Marco Asensio should feature out wide.
