  • Graham Potter will hope to have Joel Veltman available for selection here given Brighton’s raft of injury issues in defence.
  • Indeed, Lewis Dunk and Adam Webster are ruled out through injury, while Shane Duffy is suspended. Webster has an outside chance of making the weekend but Dunk is out until January.
  • Leandro Trossard is fine and should return in midweek, while Adam Lallana has a chance of making the bench. Wednesday comes too soon for Danny Welbeck, with Steven Alzate and Jeremy Sarmiento still sidelined.
  • Raul Jimenez received his marching orders in the first half of Wolves’ 1-0 loss at Manchester City on Saturday, with Hwang Hee-Chan expected to lead the charge in his absence.
  • Bruno Lage may revert to a 3-4-3 system, with Trincao also coming in for Leander Dendoncker. Rayan Aït-Nouri has featured heavily of late so Marcal may also rotate into the starting XI here now back from injury.

  • Sean Dyche says Maxwel Cornet is ‘touch and go’ to face Watford but should certainly be back for the weekend if not here.
  • Connor Roberts is out of hospital, not COVID related, and getting better but appears to be sideline for this game.
  • Dale Stephens is back with the group, albeit only likely to make the bench at best, while Ashley Barnes is still sidelined.
  • Josh Brownhill and Matej Vydra may start in place of Jack Cork and Jay Rodriguez, respectively.
  • Francisco Sierralta has made a timely return to training as Christian Kabasele will miss out against Burnley with a knock.
  • Ken Sema featured from the bench at Brentford and is battling Joao Pedro for a start in midweek.
  • Claudio Ranieri remains without no fewer than six players, including Ismaila Sarr and Peter Etebo.
  • Ranieri has hinted that William Troost-Ekong may be dropped after he conceded a late penalty at Brentford on Friday night.
  • Adam Masina could return for the Hornets after returning to training this week. Danny Rose and Jeremy Ngakia are alternatives.

  • James McArthur watched Crystal Palace’s 3-1 win over Everton from the stands and remains unavailable here.
  • Joachim Andersen is back for the home side but James Tomkins will hope to keep his place in the side.
  • Tyrick Mitchell was replaced at the weekend as a precaution but the left-back is fine to start here.
  • Will Hughes impressed on his first league start for Palace, but Patrick Vieira may look to keep his midfield fresh.
  • Vieira could make a couple of changes in personnel with Jeffrey Schlupp and Christian Benteke, who were both second half subs against Everton, featuring from the outset.
  • Southampton welcome Oriol Romeu and Mohammed Salisu back from bans and the pair should return to the XI here.
  • However, Ralph Hasenhuttl faces the possibility of coming up against Crystal Palace without strikers Che Adams, Adam Armstrong and Armando Broja, the latter duo forced off either side half time in Saturday’s 3-0 loss at Arsenal.
  • Fraser Forster and Alex McCarthy are absent, so Willy Caballero will continue between

  • Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been stripped of the Arsenal captaincy and won’t play here. Expect Alexandre Lacazette to continue in attack here.
  • Gabriel was taken off with 20 minutes to play against Southampton, but Mikel Arteta has confirmed that it wasn’t due to injury, so the Brazilian is expected to keep his spot at the back.
  • Nuno Tavares, Albert Sambi Lokonga and Emile Smith Rowe may all come into the side against West Ham.
  • West Ham sustained no fresh injury issues at Burnley, but David Moyes remains without Kurt Zouma, Angelo Ogbonna, Ben Johnson and Ryan Fredericks. Aaron Cresswell could return here.
  • Moyes could make two changes to the side that started the 0-0 draw at Burnley, with Pablo Fornals and Nikola Vlasic starting in place of Said Benrahma and Manuel Lanzini.
