- Giovani Lo Celso is Tottenham’s only confirmed absentee, with the Argentine out for the long-term for the north London side. However, the midfielder recently put up an image on his Instagram suggesting he’ll be back in training soon.
- Matt Doherty and wantaway midfielder Dele Alli are both doubts for Thursday’s welcome of Liverpool, though neither were likely to have started.
- Ben Davies will also be assessed having taken a knock to his calf in the 4-1 win over Wycombe.
- Joe Rodon could keep his spot in defence after a solid showing against Sheffield United last time out in the league.
- Liverpool’s injury list is starting to ease, though Jurgen Klopp remains without quartet Joe Gomez, Virgil van Dijk, Diogo Jota and Naby Keita all sidelined.
- Captain Jordan Henderson will also be assessed ahead of the trip to Tottenham.
- With Xherdan Shaqiri and Curtis Jones on standby if Henderson isn’t fit to start.
