  • Granit Xhaka is a long-term absentee but Kieran Tierney has returned to full training and will return here. Nuno Tavares does deserve to keep his spot for this one, however.
  • Martin Odegaard and Nicolas Pepe are pushing for starts but Arsenal should otherwise be unchanged from last weekend’s 2-0 win over Leicester.
  • Emmanuel Dennis is back available after serving a one-match ban in the Premier League last weekend. He will reclaim his starting berth back from Cucho Hernandez.
  • Francisco Sierralta has a full week of training under his belt after recovering from injury and will also return here.
  • Meanwhile, new signing Nicolas Nkoulou was on the bench against Southampton and could make a debut here. Ex-Tottenham left-back Danny Rose is also back fit.
  • Joao Pedro made his first start of the season last time out but was subbed off at half-time and may drop to the bench here as a result.
  • Ken Sema has withdrawn from the Sweden squad for the upcoming break through injury so it would be a real surprise if he featured here. Summer signing Kwadwo Baah has broken his foot and set spell out.

  • Vladimir Coufal started on Thursday so Ben Johnson should deservedly keep his place at right-back against Liverpool.
  • David Moyes fielded a stronger team than expected away to Genk on Thursday but the likes of Michail Antonio came through unscathed.
  • Alex Kral was back in the matchday squad on Thursday after a spell out with COVID-19. Nikola Vlasic and Andriy Yarmolenko will need to be assessed for Sunday due to slight injuries.
  • Fabinho and Thiago both returned from injury in Wednesday’s 2-0 win over Atletico Madrid but the victory came at a cost with Roberto Firmino coming off injured.
  • Thiago could make his first start since September here, though it would be harsh on Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain if he dropped out.
  • Curtis Jones and Joe Gomez will miss out for the second game in a row through injury..
  • Andy Robertson will reclaim his place in the side after dropping to the bench in midweek, while Joel Matip faces competition at centre-back from Ibrahima Konate.
  • Konate could get the nod here given the physicality of Michail Antonio and pace of West Ham’s other attackers.

  • James McPake made three changes after the Dee were demolished 5-0 at home to Ross County at Dens Park, before responding with a superb 1-0 victory over St Mirren in Paisley last weekend.
  • Jordan McGhee made way in the midfield trio, replaced by matchwinner Max Anderson who joined the experienced duo of Charlie Adam and Paul McGowan. Luke McCowan came in on the left hand side, whilst Cillian Sheridan started as the lone striker.
  • The win against Saints came at a price, as the big Irishman ruptured his Achilles tendon and will be on the treatment table for a while. With Leigh Griffiths ineligible, it should be Jason Cummings that takes his spot after both dropped to the bench.
  • Ange Postecolgou made two changes from Celtic’s stalemate last weekend where they were held at home by Livingston in a 0-0 draw, before their 3-2 win away at Ferencvaros in their Europa League group match in midweek.
  • Carl Starfelt picked up an injury in the match against Livi, so Stephen Welsh took the Swede’s place in Budapest against the Hungarians. The former Rubin Kazan defender will be unavailable until after the international break.
  • Giorgos Giakoumakis dropped onto the substitutes bench, as Kyogo Furuhashi took the Greek frontman’s place in Hungary. The Japanese forward opened the scoring in midweek before Jota and Liel Abada, the other members of the front three, scored for Celtic against Ferencvaros.
