Chelsea v Everton

  • Timo Werner looked bright in Chelsea’s 1-0 win at Anfield on Thursday night and should retain his place up front.
  • Marcos Alonso, Mateo Kovacic and Callum Hudson-Odoi will push for recalls against Everton on Monday night.
  • Kai Havertz and Christian Pulisic are still waiting for their first chance under Thomas Tuchel.
  • Tammy Abraham and Thiago Silva are still doubts for the home side.
  • Allan will return to the starting XI for the visit to Chelsea on Monday night.
  • Tom Davies, James Rodriguez, Robin Olsen and Seamus Coleman should all return to the matchday squad here.
  • Gylfi Sigurdsson has made key contributions of late and will push to start at Stamford Bridge even if James Rodriguez is fully fit.
