Arsenal v Southampton

Nicolas Pepe returns following a three-match ban but Granit Xhaka now faces one of his own following a straight red card against Burnley. Hector Bellerin is also now suspended following a fifth yellow card of the season and will be replaced by Ainsley Maitland-Niles at right-back. With Thomas Partey still sidelined, Dani Ceballos seems safe to play alongside Mohamed Elneny in midfield. Brazilian duo David Luiz and Gabriel Martinelli could return to the squad, with the latter having been out for much of the year. Having cruised to a 3-0 win over Sheffield United and come through the match unscathed, Ralph Hasenhuttl will likely name an unchanged side. Having scored from the bench on his return from injury Nathan Redmond is the next in line to come in, with Theo Walcott blocking his path to the XI at present.

Leeds v Newcastle

Marcelo Bielsa remains without four players for the welcome of Newcastle, with Gaetano Berardi, Robin Koch, Diego Llorente and Adam Forshaw ruled out.
The Leeds boss will likely look to rotate, with Helder Costa possibly coming into the XI for Raphinha. Jason Shakleton and Tyler Roberts came off the bench against West Ham on Friday night and are also options for Bielsa.
Steve Bruce has confirmed Jamaal Lascelles, Allan Saint-Maximin, Javier Manquillo and Fabian Schar are among those still missing for Newcastle.
Isaac Hayden had to fill in at centre-back at the weekend but having only just recovered from COVID-19 he will need assessing ahead of this one.
Expect Federico Fernandez to replace Hayden in the side here, as the defender is now available after testing negative for COVID-19.
Ryan Fraser’s recovery from a hamstring injury was disrupted by the closure of Newcastle’s training ground earlier this month but he will be in the squad in midweek.
Jacob Murphy could start at right-back at Elland Road, while Dwight Gayle, who came off the bench to score the winner against West Brom, will hope to make his first start of the season.

Liverpool v Tottenham

Joel Matip was forced off at the break with a back issue and will be assessed, though may not be risked for the welcome of Tottenham.
Captain Jordan Henderson deputised at the back and could start here once move, though Rhys Williams and Nathaniel Phillips are options for Jurgen Klopp.
If Henderson does start in defence, then Takumi Minamino may feature from the off.
Erik Lamela remains sidelined, while Jose Mourinho has also confirmed Japhet Tanganga is out for up to three weeks. Gareth Bale is a major doubt through illness, though would not have started anyway.
Jose Mourinho could implement a change in setup in order to stifle Liverpool at Anfield. He may use a three-man defence, with Ben Davies and Joe Rodon potentially coming into the side, while Matt Doherty and Giovani Lo Celso are also in line to replace Serge Aurier and Tanguy Ndombele.
