On Friday, 28th June 2024, there are several exciting football matches lined up. Early in the morning at 02:00, Uruguay will face Bolivia in the Copa America 2024 Group Stage, broadcast on Premier Sports 1. Later in the evening, at 19:45, the League of Ireland Premier Division will feature multiple matches on LOITV, including Derry City vs. Drogheda United, Dundalk vs. Waterford, Shelbourne vs. Galway United, Sligo Rovers vs. Shamrock Rovers, and St Patrick’s Athletic vs. Bohemians. Finally, at 23:00, Colombia will play against Costa Rica in another Copa America 2024 Group Stage match, also on Premier Sports 1.

Paris St-Germain will consider making a move for Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford and could step up their pursuit if they receive encouragement that the 26-year-old England international is open to joining them. (Talksport)

Manchester City failed in a late move to hijack 22-year-old forward Michael Olise’s transfer to Bayern Munich from Crystal Palace. (Football Insider)

Chelsea want Nottingham Forest’s 21-year-old Brazilian defender Murillo, valued at £70m by Forest, and could offer English centre-back Trevoh Chalobah, 24, as part of any deal. (Guardian)

Chelsea have contacted Leicester City about signing 25-year-old English midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, who only wants to move to the Blues if he leaves the Foxes. (Athletic – subscription required)

Brighton had agreed a swap deal with Leicester City for Dewsbury-Hall, involving Poland midfielder Jakub Moder and a fee for the Foxes, prior to Chelsea showing an interest. (Fabrizio Romano)
