- Manchester City is on the verge of securing a deal with Josko Gvardiol, a 21-year-old defender from RB Leipzig and Croatia, for a record-breaking £86m.
- Kylian Mbappe, a 24-year-old forward from Paris St-Germain and France, is seeking a deal worth a minimum of £206m to switch clubs this summer.
- Newcastle United has shown interest in Manchester City’s Kalvin Phillips (27) and Chelsea’s Conor Gallagher (23), both England midfielders. However, the deal for Tino Livramento, a 20-year-old English defender from Southampton, is at a standstill due to the fee.
- Aymeric Laporte, a 29-year-old France centre-back, is drawing attention from Arsenal and Juventus as his future at Manchester City remains uncertain.
- Manchester City is eager to retain Kyle Walker, a 33-year-old England right-back, despite interest from Bayern Munich. The club plans to offer him a new contract.
- Lyon has proposed a 25m euro offer for Christian Pulisic, a 24-year-old winger from Chelsea and the USA. AC Milan has also made a 14m euro bid for him.
- Cesar Azpilicueta, a 33-year-old defender from Chelsea, is set to join Atletico Madrid on a two-year deal this week. Chelsea is willing to let him go on a free transfer.
- Brentford has agreed to a club-record fee of £23m to sign Nathan Collins, a 22-year-old centre-back from the Republic of Ireland, from Wolves.
- Napoli’s 35m euro bid for Max Kilman, a 26-year-old English centre-back from Wolves, has been rejected.
- Manor Solomon, a 23-year-old former Fulham loanee, is poised to join Tottenham. The London club has agreed to a five-year deal with the Israel international.
- West Ham has formally approached Leeds United for Tyler Adams, a 24-year-old American midfielder.
- Everton has reportedly proposed a swap deal with Blackburn Rovers, offering either Ellis Simms (22) or Neal Maupay (26) for Scott Wharton, a 25-year-old English defender.
- Luton Town is in discussions with Birmingham City to sign Tahith Chong, a 23-year-old Dutch winger.
- Jesse Lingard, a 30-year-old former Manchester United and Nottingham Forest midfielder, is currently training with MLS side Inter Miami.
- Gianluigi Buffon, a 45-year-old former Juventus, Paris St-Germain, and Italy goalkeeper, has been offered a £25m-a-year deal to join the Saudi Pro League.
- Inter Miami has targeted Sergio Ramos, a 37-year-old former Real Madrid and Paris St-Germain centre-back, who recently became a free agent.
