- Manchester City is keen on 18-year-old Brighton striker Evan Ferguson, believing he could be a great partner for Erling Haaland on the field.
- Manchester United is in discussions to extend the contract of 25-year-old right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka, who has caught the eye of manager Erik ten Hag.
- The Red Devils are also considering a move for 28-year-old Fulham midfielder Joao Palhinha, possibly in the upcoming January transfer window.
- Liverpool had plans to trade 24-year-old Uruguay striker Darwin Nunez for 23-year-old Portuguese winger Joao Felix, but Felix opted for a loan move to Barcelona instead.
- Despite a £600 million decrease in Manchester United’s share price, the two primary bidders for the club have not been informed that the club is off the market.
- Raheem Sterling, a 28-year-old forward for Chelsea and England, has no plans to retire from international football, even though he was left out of the latest Three Lions squad.
- Demarai Gray, a 27-year-old winger for Everton and Jamaica, is likely to exit Goodison Park for a four-year contract with Saudi Pro League team Al-Ettifaq, managed by Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard.
- West Ham is competing with Turkish clubs Galatasaray and Fenerbahce to sign 30-year-old free agent Jesse Lingard, formerly of Manchester United and the England national team.
- Jesper Lindstrom, a 23-year-old Danish midfielder, rejected a £25 million transfer to Liverpool, choosing Napoli instead for more playing time.
- Chelsea is pushing for 21-year-old Dutch full-back Ian Maatsen to commit to a long-term contract after he declined a £31 million move to Burnley.
- Jorginho, a 31-year-old Italian midfielder, is set to remain at Arsenal, despite interest from Turkish Super Lig club Fenerbahce.
- Christophe Galtier, a 57-year-old Frenchman who was let go by Paris St-Germain in July, is likely to take over as the manager of Qatari team Al-Duhail, replacing Hernan Crespo.
