08/07/2023 Football – U-21 Final – England v Spain

England’s Under-21 team is on the verge of making history as they prepare to face Spain in the European Under-21 Championship final.

This is the first time England has reached the final since 2009, and they are aiming for their first victory since 1984. The team, led by Lee Carsley, has performed exceptionally well in the tournament, held in Georgia and Romania, without conceding a single goal.

Key players include Aston Villa striker Cameron Archer, Newcastle’s Anthony Gordon, and Arsenal’s Emile Smith Rowe, who have each scored two goals. Nottingham Forest’s Morgan Gibbs-White leads with three assists. Spain, with five previous victories in the competition, will be a formidable opponent.

The match will take place at the Batumi Arena in Georgia, where England has played all its games, potentially giving them a home-field advantage.
