  • Paul Pogba, the 30-year-old Juventus and France midfielder, is set to receive a staggering £128m offer over three years from a Saudi Arabian club.
  • Harry Kane, Tottenham and England striker, aged 29, is showing interest in joining Bayern Munich, who have already made two bids.
  • Kane’s contract is due to expire next summer, but he could be offered a weekly salary of £400,000 if the new Tottenham manager, Ange Postecoglou, persuades him to stay.
  • Gianluca Scamacca, the 22-year-old West Ham and Italy forward, is open to working under Roma manager Jose Mourinho if he returns to Serie A.
  • Napoli president Aurelio de Laurentiis believes only Paris St-Germain can afford his valuation of 150m euros for Victor Osimhen, the 24-year-old Nigeria forward.
  • Bournemouth is leading Tottenham, West Ham, and Wolves in the race to sign Bristol City’s 19-year-old English midfielder Alex Scott.
  • Viktor Gyokeres, the 25-year-old Sweden striker, is likely to leave Coventry for Sporting Lisbon, with the Championship club expecting a fee of up to £20m.
  • Chelsea is planning to make an offer for Lyon’s 19-year-old French forward Rayan Cherki.
  • The return to training of Chelsea’s Romelu Lukaku, Hakim Ziyech, and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been delayed. Lukaku, a 30-year-old Belgium forward, is aiming for a return to Inter Milan, while Aubameyang, a 34-year-old Gabon striker, is sought after by European clubs, and Ziyech, a 30-year-old Morocco winger, is attracting interest from clubs in the Saudi Pro League.
  • Everton is showing interest in Anthony Elanga, the 21-year-old Manchester United and Sweden forward.
  • Burnley has targeted Coventry and Netherlands midfielder Gustavo Hamer, aged 26.
  • Manchester United is nearing an agreement for Andre Onana, the 27-year-old Inter Milan and Cameroon keeper.
  • Nottingham Forest is in discussions with Manchester United for a deal involving England keeper Dean Henderson, aged 26, and is also considering a move for Wolves’ 30-year-old Portuguese keeper Jose Sa.
  • Arsenal is optimistic about signing Declan Rice, the 24-year-old West Ham and England midfielder, before the squad leaves for their pre-season tour in the USA on Sunday.
  • Southampton is contemplating a move for Hoffenheim’s 24-year-old Denmark winger Jacob Bruun Larsen.
  • Arsenal has joined Tottenham and Chelsea in showing interest in Celta Vigo’s 21-year-old Spanish midfielder Gabri Veiga, but Paris St-Germain is not interested.
  • Manchester City is set to sign Manchester United’s 16-year-old defender Harrison Parker after United attempted to sign their 16-year-old twins Jack and Tyler Fletcher.
