- Liverpool is setting its sights on Manchester City’s Kalvin Phillips, 27, as a potential replacement for Fabinho who is on the brink of a move to Saudi Arabia.
- Erik ten Hag, Manchester United’s manager, is open to selling Scott McTominay, 25, to fund summer transfers.
- Inter Milan, after withdrawing from the race for Chelsea’s Romelu Lukaku, 30, is now focusing on Atletico Madrid’s Alvaro Morata, 30, and Arsenal’s Folarin Balogun, 22.
- Lukaku will not be joining Chelsea’s pre-season tour as the club aims to sell him for £34m. Juventus’ interest hinges on a deal between Paris St-Germain and Serbia striker Dusan Vlahovic, 23.
- David de Gea, 32, former Manchester United goalkeeper, is likely to move to Saudi Arabia following substantial offers from multiple clubs.
- Chelsea has turned down Fulham’s initial offer for England winger Callum Hudson-Odoi, 22.
- Giovani lo Celso, 27, Argentina midfielder, is close to leaving Tottenham Hotspur as Napoli begins negotiations for the playmaker.
