26/09/2022 Football – Nations League football Today. At 7:45, on Channel 4, it is England v Germany from Wembley. Hungary v Italy is also on at the same time.
26/09/2022 Football – Nations League football – England v Germany
- Kyle Walker and Jordan Henderson were called up by Gareth Southgate despite being injury doubts. Henderson could come in to midfield after missing the Italy game.
- John Stones has served his suspension after being sent off against Hungary and could be in contention to start.
- Nick Pope started against Italy, so Aaron Ramsdale could start in goal with Jordan Pickford ruled out.
- Expect a less changed side from the 1-0 defeat against Italy, with minor changes. Ben Chilwell and Ivan Toney could come in for England
- Manuel Neuer and Leon Goreztka are ruled out as they have contracted COVID-19. They will miss both of the final Nations League game against England. Julian Brandt has also withdrawn.
- Antonio Rudiger is suspended on his return to London, following a yellow card against Hungary. Nico Schlotterbeck should replace him.
