- Since the win over Armenia, Ukraine don’t really have any injury concerns, with the only loss being the now suspended Serhii Sydorchuk, who may be replaced by Oleksandr Pikhalyonok.
- There is potential that Myhailo Mudryk may get a nod in the forward line having been in red hot form for Shakhtar Donetsk recently and with Ukraine needing nothing less than a win.
- Kieran Tierney and Scott McKenna miss out through injury and both players were replaced in the squad, by Hearts players Barrie McKay and Stephen Kingsley.
- Nathan Patterson also misses out after being stretchered off against Ukraine, while Aaron Hickey is a doubt having been forced off in the last game vs Ireland.
- Scott McTominay will miss the game due to picking up a yellow card in the match vs Ireland, meaning he is now suspended.
- Che Adams was said to be feeling ill, but still travelled with the squad, so expect him to start.
