  • Tariq Lamptey was only fit enough to come off the bench against Wolves last weekend but should start this one.
  • After a thoroughly impressive 3-0 win away to Wolves last time out, Graham Potter will want to resist the changes here.
  • Enock Mwepu won’t be fit in time to face Manchester United after coming off in the victory through injury..
  • Former Manchester United striker Danny Welbeck followed up a goal against Southampton with an assist against Wolves and will be desperate to start this one.
  • Moises Caicedo, who was linked to United before joining Brighton, is getting a run in the side at the moment and looks set to continue in midfield here.
  • Previously ruled out for the season, Jadon Sancho and Harry Maguire could return to the matchday squad to face Brighton on Saturday.
  • Juan Mata reminded everyone of his ability on his first Premier League start of the season last time out against Brentford and should really keep his place in the side here.
  • Edinson Cavani came off the bench against Brentford to make his first appearance in almost two months, while Fred was also back after injury.
  • Aaron Wan-Bissaka missed out once again for Ralf Rangnick’s side and remains a doubt to face Brighton.

  • Luis Diaz will certainly start this one after saving Liverpool from an embarrassing Champions League exit in midweek.
  • Roberto Firmino travelled to Spain in midweek but wasn’t in the squad. He is nearing a return, though won’t start this one.
  • Jordan Henderson will likely return in place of Naby Keita to face Tottenham as Jurgen Klopp continues to rotate his midfielders.
  • Joel Matip should be back in the side to face Tottenham after Ibrahima Konate got the nod against Villarreal.
  • Tottenham suffered no fresh injury concerns in their 3-1 win over Leicester and remain without quartet Matt Doherty, Sergio Reguilon, Japhet Tanganga and Oliver Skipp.
  • Antonio Conte should make one change to his XI here, with Dejan Kulusevski replacing Lucas Moura in attack.
