- Aston Villa’s squad is currently depleted due to injuries of some key players. Jed Steer, Matty Cash, and Philippe Coutinho are still unavailable for the team.
- Boubacar Kamara, a player from the opposing team, is also doubtful for the upcoming game due to an injury.
- Leon Bailey, a notable player for Aston Villa, is unable to play in this game due to a hamstring injury.
- On the other side, Eddie Howe’s team has one fresh injury concern with Allan Saint-Maximin ruled out for 4-6 weeks due to a hamstring problem.

- Defender Jannik Vestergaard, however, is still training alone and is unlikely to feature in the game.
- Leicester’s forward Harvey Barnes picked up a slight hamstring issue, but he is expected to be fit and available for this match.
- In some good news for the Foxes, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall returns from suspension, and his presence will surely be a boost for the team.

- Chelsea seems to be willing to go all out to sign Barcelona and Spain’s young midfielder Gavi, as reports suggest they are ready to offer him one of the highest salaries in the Premier League. The Blues are also confident about securing the signing of Napoli and Nigeria’s striker Victor Osimhen, even without Champions League football next season.
- Liverpool, on the other hand, has reportedly made Brighton’s Argentina international Alexis Mac Allister their top midfield target this summer.
- Meanwhile, Crystal Palace and Ivory Coast’s forward Wilfried Zaha, who will become a free agent at the end of the season, is likely to reject a move to Saudi Arabia and stay in Europe.
- Tottenham’s England striker Harry Kane is said to be waiting for the appointment of a new manager before reassessing his contract, with both Manchester United and Bayern Munich showing interest in signing him.
- Manchester City and Liverpool are both keeping a close eye on Chelsea’s young English defender Levi Colwill, who is currently on loan at Brighton. Liverpool is also reportedly interested in Chelsea’s midfield duo Conor Gallagher and Mason Mount.
- Chelsea, however, is expected to make a final push to convince Mount to sign a new contract. The club may have to sell some first-team players, including United States forward Christian Pulisic, to balance their finances.
- Manchester United is targeting Sporting Lisbon and Portugal midfielder Joao Palhinha, with Fulham reportedly setting a high asking price of £60m for him.
- Both Manchester United and Manchester City are interested in signing Inter Milan and Italy centre-back Alessandro Bastoni in the summer transfer window.
- Finally, Roma is reportedly interested in signing Liverpool’s Brazil forward Roberto Firmino and Leicester City’s England full-back James Justin on loan, with an option to make the move permanent for a 20m euro fee.
