Wolves v Arsenal
- With Rayan Ait-Nouri, Jonny and Marcal all sidelined, Nelson Semedo is expected to continue at left wing-back for Wolves.
- Romain Saiss will be assessed, while Ruben Neves is expected to sit out the welcome of Arsenal following the birth of his child.
- Nuno Espirito Santo may elect for a three-man backline once more.
- Bukayo Saka and Dani Ceballos missed the 0-0 draw with Manchester United, but are back in full training, as is Pablo Mari.
- Kieran Tierney and Mat Ryan are both sidelined for the Gunners, however.
- Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is back in Arsenal training after missing recent matches due to personal reasons. He should return here.
Manchester United v Southampton
- Manchester United are expected to terminate Marcos Rojo’s contract soon, while Facundo Pellistri is set for a loan move to Alaves.
- That leaves Phil Jones and Scott McTominay as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s only injury concerns for the welcome of Southampton, with the latter forced off in the first half of the 0-0 draw with Arsenal.
- Anthony Martial and Mason Greenwood may come in for McTominay and Edinson Cavani, and that would see Paul Pogba drop into midfield.
- Jannik Vestergaard is close to a return to fitness, though the trip to Manchester United may come too soon for the Dane.
- Mohammed Salisu, Michael Obafemi, Will Smallbone, Nathan Tella and Kyle Walker-Peters are sidelined for Tuesday’s game.
- James Ward-Prowse should move back into midfield with Oriol Romeu and Ibrahima Diallo both doubts, with Alexandre Jankewitz and Yan Valery both potentially starting.
