- Manchester United’s pursuit of Tottenham striker Harry Kane this summer is causing concern, as Spurs are determined to retain their 29-year-old England captain despite his contract nearing its final year.
- La Liga president Javier Tebas suggests that Sergio Busquets’ departure from Barcelona marks the starting point for the Spanish club’s efforts to re-sign 35-year-old Argentine forward Lionel Messi, who will be a free agent after his contract with Paris St-Germain expires.
- Chelsea is likely to postpone their pursuit of Napoli’s Victor Osimhen as they anticipate challenges in reaching an agreement for the 24-year-old Nigerian striker during the summer transfer window.
