07/03/2023 Football Gossip & News

In the world of football, the transfer rumour mill is always churning. This week’s news is no exception, with several high-profile players and clubs making headlines. Manchester United is reportedly eyeing a move for Tottenham’s Harry Kane, with the striker seen as a top target if Spurs fail to qualify for the Champions League this season.

Meanwhile, Chelsea, Liverpool, and Manchester City are all said to be interested in RB Leipzig’s talented young defender Josko Gvardiol. The 21-year-old Croatian has impressed with his performances in the Bundesliga, and his potential has not gone unnoticed by some of the biggest clubs in Europe.

Paris Saint-Germain’s Lionel Messi has spoken out about his difficult start to life in the French capital, but the Argentine forward now says he feels “great” and is enjoying his football. His contract with PSG expires in the summer, and it remains to be seen where he will play next season.

At West Ham, manager David Moyes is facing criticism from some of his players over his cautious tactics. The Hammers are currently hovering just above the Premier League relegation zone, and tensions are reportedly high within the squad.

Over at Arsenal, there is good news on the contract front, with 23-year-old winger Reiss Nelson expected to sign a new deal with the club. The Gunners are also said to be leading the race for Napoli’s Victor Osimhen, with Manchester United also interested in the Nigerian striker.

Elsewhere, Portugal striker Joao Felix has hinted that Chelsea’s failure to qualify for next season’s Champions League could impact his decision on whether to stay with the Blues. French midfielder Adrien Rabiot’s contract at Juventus is set to expire this summer, and he has said that Champions League qualification is important for his future.

Manchester United could make a move for Rabiot and Borussia Dortmund’s promising young midfielder Jude Bellingham. However, United may have to sell some of their current squad first, with England defender Harry Maguire reportedly among those who could be on the way out.

Finally, Leeds United and Burnley are both said to be interested in signing Rangers winger Ryan Kent, whose contract expires at the end of the season. And at Manchester United, staff have been assured that there should be “clarity” on the club’s ownership situation before the end of the season.
