  • Benjamin Pavard is suspended for the home team while Lucas Hernandez, Manuel Neuer and Noussair Mazraoui are injured and cannot play.
  • Sadio Mane may make his first start since his return from injury, and Kingsley Coman and Leroy Sane are also options out wide for Julian Nagelsmann.
  • On the other hand, Christophe Galtier is missing Neymar, Presnel Kimpembe, Achraf Hakimi and Renato Sanches for the trip to Munich.
  • Galtier may opt for a tactical change by using a three-man defence with Danilo Pereira featuring alongside Sergio Ramos and Marquinhos at the back, as opposed to the four-man backline used in the first leg in Paris.

08/03/2023 Football Gossip & News

The transfer market rumours continue to swirl as the summer approaches, with some of the biggest names in football being linked to various clubs. One such player is Moises Caicedo, the 21-year-old midfielder from Ecuador, who recently signed a new contract with Brighton. Despite this, Arsenal, Manchester United, Chelsea, and Liverpool remain interested in the young talent.

Arsenal, in particular, seems to have their sights set on Napoli’s Nigeria striker Victor Osimhen and West Ham’s England midfielder Declan Rice. Osimhen has expressed his desire to play in the Premier League, and Arsenal could be the team to make his dream a reality.

Real Madrid’s head of recruitment, Juni Calafat, has reportedly met with the father of Borussia Dortmund’s England midfielder Jude Bellingham in London, adding to the speculation surrounding the talented young player’s future.

Former Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino has his eye on a return to the London club if current boss Antonio Conte departs in the summer. Meanwhile, Bayern Munich is unlikely to take up the option to sign Portugal defender Joao Cancelo permanently from Manchester City.

Liverpool, Manchester United, and Tottenham are all keeping an eye on the contract situation of France midfielder Adrien Rabiot at Juventus, while Newcastle United has joined the race to sign Chelsea and England midfielder Mason Mount.

Manchester City is said to be in pole position to re-sign Belgian midfielder Romeo Lavia from Southampton, thanks to a buy-back clause in his deal. Meanwhile, Barcelona president Joan Laporta has met with Lionel Messi’s father, leaving the possibility of a summer return to the Nou Camp open for the Argentine star.

Elsewhere, Chelsea technical director Christopher Vivell is reportedly keen on RB Leipzig’s Hungary attacking midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai, while the Blues have also entered the race to sign Netherlands midfielder Frenkie de Jong from Barcelona.

Finally, Everton owner Farhad Moshiri has decided not to sell the club, instead opting for American investment fund MSP Sports Capital to take a minority stake. These developments, along with a potential Qatari takeover of Manchester United, are sure to keep football fans glued to their screens as the summer transfer window approaches.
