  • Billy Mitchell and Tyler Burey have an outside chance of featuring this weekend.
  • On Friday, Rob Edwards will select an unchanged starting XI when Luton travels to London.
  • The Hatters will have three confirmed absentees for the trip to The Den, with Jack Walton, Dan Potts, and Luke Freeman all ruled out.

Chelsea have reportedly contacted Jose Mourinho, their former manager and current Roma boss, about returning for a third stint in charge at Stamford Bridge. Meanwhile, the club is also said to be targeting Portugal and Benfica striker Goncalo Ramos for a summer move. Italian club Inter Milan is looking to extend the contract of Italy centre-back Alessandro Bastoni, who is being eyed by Manchester City. Barcelona is confident about signing Joao Cancelo from Manchester City, while Manchester United has been in talks to sign Bayer Leverkusen’s Dutch full-back Jeremie Frimpong. Frimpong is also being pursued by Bayern Munich and Barcelona. Rafael Leao has agreed to a new contract with AC Milan, while Arsenal is targeting West Ham’s Declan Rice and Feyenoord’s Orkun Kokcu.

West Ham manager David Moyes is expected to remain in charge for Saturday’s game against Fulham despite the team’s 5-1 home defeat by Newcastle. French forward Kylian Mbappe is featured prominently in Paris St-Germain’s video promoting season-ticket renewals for 2023-24. Austria midfielder Marcel Sabitzer would consider making his loan move from Bayern Munich to Manchester United permanent. Arsenal is stepping up its efforts to sign Switzerland midfielder Djibril Sow from Eintracht Frankfurt. Newcastle is reportedly interested in signing West Ham and England winger Jarrod Bowen, while Leeds United will attempt to sign on-loan United States midfielder Weston McKennie permanently from Juventus if they avoid relegation from the Premier League. Turkish club Altay SK has received offers for their Turkish defender Efe Sarikaya from Manchester City, Atletico Madrid, and Sevilla. Edinson Cavani, Valencia’s Uruguay striker, has stated that he is not thinking about retiring. Finally, Tottenham is considering signing Scottish defender Ben Brannan, 16, from Kilmarnock.
