- West Ham is considering Arsenal’s Emile Smith Rowe, 22, as a potential replacement if Declan Rice, 24, transfers to the Gunners.
- Edson Alvarez, a 25-year-old Mexican midfielder from Ajax, is another potential replacement for Rice at West Ham, with Ajax asking for £45m.
- Despite Bayern Munich’s interest in Declan Rice, Arsenal is currently the frontrunner to sign him.
- Manchester City is in preliminary talks with RB Leipzig for the acquisition of Croatian defender Josko Gvardiol, 21.
- Arsenal and Joao Cancelo are in positive discussions about a potential transfer, with Manchester City asking for £45m for the 29-year-old Portuguese full-back.
- Manchester United’s manager, Erik ten Hag, has thwarted Eintracht Frankfurt’s attempts to sign Victor Lindelof, 28, considering the Swedish centre-back indispensable.
- Chelsea has initiated talks with Southampton for their 19-year-old Belgian midfielder, Romeo Lavia.
- Andre Onana, Inter Milan’s Cameroonian goalkeeper, has a tentative agreement with Chelsea, but Inter has rejected Chelsea’s initial £34m offer for the 27-year-old.
- Chelsea is also showing interest in AC Milan and France’s goalkeeper, Mike Maignan, 27.

- Saudi team Al-Ahli is prepared to offer Algerian winger Riyad Mahrez, 32, a £40m per year contract to leave Manchester City this summer.
- Tottenham and Manchester United are likely to abandon a potential deal for David Raya if Brentford does not reduce their £40m asking price for the 27-year-old Spanish goalkeeper.
- Newcastle United’s manager, Eddie Howe, has been informed that he will have £75m to spend this summer, with Leicester’s James Maddison, 26, Brighton’s Moises Caicedo, 21, Manchester United’s Scott McTominay, 26, and Chelsea’s Conor Gallagher, 23, being considered.
- Alternatively, Newcastle’s transfer budget for this summer could be between £100m to £150m.
