  • Despite Bayern Munich’s interest in Declan Rice, Arsenal is currently the frontrunner to sign him.
  • Manchester City is in preliminary talks with RB Leipzig for the acquisition of Croatian defender Josko Gvardiol, 21.
  • Arsenal and Joao Cancelo are in positive discussions about a potential transfer, with Manchester City asking for £45m for the 29-year-old Portuguese full-back.
  • Manchester United’s manager, Erik ten Hag, has thwarted Eintracht Frankfurt’s attempts to sign Victor Lindelof, 28, considering the Swedish centre-back indispensable.
