17/3/2022 Football
17/3/2022 Football – Plenty of football action today. There are Europa League, UEFA Europa Conference League and a Premier League taking place.
17/3/2022 Football – Europa League – Crvena Zvezda v Rangers
- Dejan Stankovic remains without only Veljko Nikolic for Thursday’s welcome of Rangers.
- The hosts have no fewer than seven players who are one booking away from a ban.
- Giovanni van Bronckhorst may go with the same XI that started Rangers’ resounding first leg win over FK Crvena Zvezda.
- Ianis Hagi and Nnamdi Ofoborh are both sidelined for the away side, as both Aaron Ramsey and Amad Diallo featured in some capacity at the weekend.

17/3/2022 Football – Europa League – West Ham United v Sevilla
- Both Michail Antonio and Aaron Cresswell sustained knocks in West Ham’s 2-1 win over Aston Villa on Saturday and the pair will be assessed. However, the latter should be fit to start, but the former faces a late fitness test.
- Vladimir Coufal, Angelo Ogbonna and Jarrod Bowen remain sidelined for the Hammers.
- Declan Rice and Manuel Lanzini are one booking away from a Europa League ban, so Nikola Vlasic may start at the latter’s expense here, though he did miss Sunday’s win due to injury.
- Marcos Acuna sustained a knock at the weekend and will be assessed with Ludwig Augustinsson prepared to start at left-back if needed.
- Lucas Ocampos is banned after his yellow in the first leg, but Anthony Martial returned to action off the bench at Rayo Vallecano and is available.
- Thomas Delaney is also an option in midfield after serving a ban, while Erik Lamela, Diego Carlos, Karim Rekik and Gonzalo Montiel are doubts.
- Papu Gomez and Suso miss out entirely. Ivan Rakitic sustained an injury in the warm-up last week, but was fit enough to play the full 90 at the weekend so expect him to start.

- Jonjoe Kenny is suspended after his second half dismissal against Wolves on Sunday, so Frank Lampard may revert to a 4-2-3-1 here.
- The Toffees boss will hope to have Dominic Calvert-Lewin available for selection after he missed the defeat at the weekend due to illness.
- Yerry Mina, Fabian Delph and Tom Davies remain sidelined for Everton.
- Dele Alli and Allan may start here as Lampard looks to correct Everton’s woeful form.
- Joelinton missed Newcastle’s 1-0 loss at Chelsea, but Eddie Howe has hinted he may return here.
- That would be a boost with Jonjo Shelvey and Joe Willock both doubts due to illness, while Federico Fernandez will also be assessed.
- Callum Wilson and Kieran Trippier remain sidelined for the Magpies.
- Howe may revert to a 4-3-3 system here, though that does depend on the fitness of his central midfielders.
