David Moyes’ squad is almost at full strength for their upcoming match, with only Gianluca Scamacca absent from the lineup. Meanwhile, Vladimir Coufal, who made a return to the bench during the UEFA Europa Conference League semi-final, is now fit and ready for selection. However, Tyler Adams, Liam Cooper, Luis Sinisterra, and Stuart Dallas continue to be sidelined and will be unable to participate in the game against West Ham. Adding to their list of absences, Junior Firpo will also miss out due to suspension, following his red card against Newcastle.

21/05/2023 Football – Premier League – Brighton v Southampton

Roberto De Zerbi has provided updates on the squad ahead of the match, with Joel Veltman and Levi Colwill being doubtful. However, De Zerbi confirmed that Colwill missed the previous 4-1 loss against Newcastle as a precaution and is expected to make a return for this game. On the other hand, Brighton & Hove Albion will be without seven players as they welcome the relegated Southampton. Notably, Alexis Mac Allister, Evan Ferguson, and Julio Enciso are likely to be included in the starting lineup after coming off the bench in the previous match at St. James’ Park. While Che Adams’s condition will be assessed, Ruben Selles continues to have a shortage of five players for this game. As a possible alternative, Selles may choose to field Kamaldeen Sulemana instead of Theo Walcott on the wide position.

21/05/2023 Football – Premier League – Manchester City v Chelsea

Manchester City’s only concern for the upcoming match is Nathan Ake, who is dealing with a thigh issue. Given the FA Cup and Champions League final approaching and the league title secured, Pep Guardiola may choose to rest a few players for this game. Meanwhile, Frank Lampard faces the challenge of coping with at least seven confirmed absentees. Reece James, Mason Mount, Ben Chilwell, and N’Golo Kante are among the players unavailable for selection. The fitness of Kalidou Koulibaly and Mateo Kovacic will be assessed ahead of the match. In a surprising turn of events, Edouard Mendy started the previous game against Nottingham Forest, but after his mistake over the weekend, Kepa may return to the goalkeeping role.
