  • Leicester City is demanding over £50m for English midfielder James Maddison, 26, who has caught the attention of Tottenham and Newcastle.
  • Manchester City is nearing an agreement on personal terms with Josko Gvardiol, a 21-year-old Croatian defender from RB Leipzig.
  • Manchester City has also proposed a £25m bid for Chelsea’s Croatian midfielder Mateo Kovacic, 29.
  • Arsenal has upped their offer to £60m for Chelsea and Germany’s forward Kai Havertz, 24.
  • West Ham United is dissatisfied with the slow progress of negotiations with Arsenal over a move for English midfielder Declan Rice, 24.
