  • Newcastle United is on the verge of securing a £60m deal for AC Milan’s Italian midfielder, Sandro Tonali, aged 23.
  • Manchester United and Arsenal are both interested in signing 24-year-old English midfielder Declan Rice from West Ham. Manchester United is considering a player-plus-cash deal involving either English defender Harry Maguire, aged 30, or Scottish midfielder Scott McTominay, aged 26.
  • West Ham is interested in bringing McTominay to the club if Rice departs.
  • Manchester City is also in the race for Rice, with West Ham favoring a deal that would bring 27-year-old English midfielder Kalvin Phillips to London Stadium.
  • Bernardo Silva, Manchester City’s 28-year-old Portuguese midfielder, is close to a move to Saudi Arabia.
  • Bayern Munich is open to letting 31-year-old Senegal forward Sadio Mane leave the club this summer, with Newcastle United showing interest.
  • Newcastle United is also looking to sign Ruben Neves, aged 26, on loan after the Portuguese midfielder agreed to join Al Hilal from Wolverhampton Wanderers for £47m this week.
  • Harry Kane, Tottenham’s 29-year-old English striker, is hopeful of securing a move to Manchester United this summer.
  • Tottenham has verbally agreed to a £17.2m deal to sign 26-year-old Italian goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario from Empoli.
  • Napoli has placed a 180m euro (£155m) valuation on 24-year-old Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen, who has been linked with Paris St-Germain.
  • Manchester United and Bayern Munich are leading the race to sign Eintracht Frankfurt’s French striker Randal Kolo Muani, aged 24.
  • Manchester United is considering a move for Inter Milan’s Cameroonian goalkeeper, Andre Onana, aged 27.
  • Borussia Dortmund has made an enquiry about Chelsea’s Conor Gallagher but has yet to make a bid for the 23-year-old English midfielder.
  • Burnley is set to sign Republic of Ireland defender Dara O’Shea, aged 24, from West Bromwich Albion.
  • Bournemouth is close to completing a £9.5m deal with Roma for Netherlands forward Justin Kluivert, aged 24.
  • Brentford is in advanced talks to sign Republic of Ireland defender Nathan Collins, aged 22, from Wolves.
  • Ryan Gravenberch, Bayern Munich’s 21-year-old Netherlands midfielder, has suggested he may need to move to secure more playing time, opening the door for Liverpool.
  • Juventus has offered 28-year-old French midfielder Adrien Rabiot a new deal ahead of his contract expiring in July, but he would prefer a Premier League move, with Manchester United and Newcastle interested.
  • Newcastle is interested in Crystal Palace defender Joachim Andersen, but the asking price for the 27-year-old Denmark centre-back could be an issue.
  • Jorginho, the 31-year-old Italian midfielder, wants to stay at Arsenal despite interest from Lazio.
  • Chelsea’s Moroccan midfielder Hakim Ziyech, aged 30, is close to an £8m move to Al-Nassr.
  • Callum Hudson-Odoi, another Chelsea midfielder aged 22, could also be leaving for Saudi Arabia with two Pro League clubs interested.
  • West Ham United is on the brink of appointing Tim Steidten, who left Bayer Leverkusen in March, as their new technical director.
  • Ruben Selles, former Southampton interim manager, has agreed to take over as boss of Reading, who were relegated from the Championship last season.
