  • Chelsea is preparing an enhanced proposal of £80m, along with additional benefits, for Brighton’s 21-year-old Ecuadorian midfielder Moises Caicedo.
  • The club is also contemplating the return of Marc Guehi, an England defender sold to Crystal Palace two years ago.
  • Crystal Palace has placed a £60m valuation on Guehi, who has three years left on his contract.
  • Manchester City is eyeing Barcelona’s Brazilian winger Raphinha, 26, as a potential replacement for Riyad Mahrez, who is heading to Al-Ahli.
  • Newcastle is close to selling French winger Allan Saint-Maximin to Saudi Arabian club Al-Ahli for around £30m.
  • Al-Nassr has improved their offer for Bayer Leverkusen’s Moussa Diaby, while Aston Villa has also submitted a second bid for the French winger.
  • Crystal Palace has set a minimum £70m valuation on Mali midfielder Cheick Doucoure, who is on Liverpool’s radar.
  • Tottenham is considering a move for Flamengo’s Brazilian striker Pedro.
  • A £15m bid could enable Bournemouth to outbid Borussia Dortmund, Barcelona, and Real Madrid for Spanish right-back Ivan Fresneda from Real Valladolid.
  • Fulham has proposed an initial offer of about £15m to Ajax for Nigerian defender Calvin Bassey.
  • Serbian striker Aleksandar Mitrovic has declared he will never play for Fulham again after the club rejected two offers from Al-Hilal.
  • Atletico Madrid has given Portuguese forward Joao Felix the green light to pursue a “dream” transfer to Barcelona.
  • Atletico has inquired about the availability of Paris St-Germain’s Marco Verratti but has not yet made an offer for the Italian midfielder.
  • Chelsea might finalize a move for Montpellier’s Elye Wahi, but Atletico Madrid is also interested in the French forward.
  • Tottenham has joined West Ham in the race to sign Conor Gallagher from Chelsea, who is reportedly holding out for a fee of at least £40m.
