  • Lloyd Kelly and Junior Stanislas could potentially return from injury for the upcoming game.
  • The fitness of Illia Zabarnyi will need to be evaluated due to a minor ankle issue.
  • Jefferson Lerma is expected to make a comeback after missing the previous game due to illness.
  • Jordan Zemura and Marcus Tavernier are doubtful for the upcoming match as they suffered injuries in the last game.

25/02/2023 Football – Premier League – Crystal Palace v Liverpool

  • Nathan Ferguson, the young defender who has been out since September with a knee injury, remains sidelined and will not be available for selection.
  • Joel Ward is a potential injury doubt, and Palace will have to wait to see if he is fit enough to feature in the match. Ward’s absence would be a major blow for Palace’s defence, as he is a key player in their backline.
  • Sam Johnstone, who joined Palace on loan from West Brom in January, may not return to action until April due to his injury. This could mean that Vicente Guaita retains his place as the starting goalkeeper for Palace.
  • Wilfried Zaha, the talismanic forward for Palace, continues to be ruled out with a hamstring injury. This is a significant loss for the team as Zaha’s pace and creativity can cause problems for any opposition.
  • Tyrick Mitchell’s ankle injury, which he sustained against Brentford, is not believed to be serious, which is good news for Palace as the left-back has been a regular starter this season and could be in contention for the upcoming match.
  • James Tomkins could make a return to the team after missing out last weekend for personal reasons. His experience and leadership could be crucial for Palace’s defence, should he be called upon to play.
  • Calvin Ramsey has been ruled out for the rest of the season with injury, which is unfortunate for the young defender who has shown promise in his limited appearances this season.
  • Thiago and Luis Diaz remain ruled out with injury, which limits Liverpool’s midfield options.
  • Arthur and Ibrahima Konate are doubts for the upcoming match but could return soon, which would be a boost for the defence.
  • Joe Gomez is a potential doubt after coming off with a hamstring injury against Real Madrid in midweek. Gomez has been a key player in defence since joining on loan from Liverpool, and his absence would be a major loss for Liverpool.

25/02/2023 Football Gossip & News

In the latest transfer news, Paris St-Germain and Argentina superstar Lionel Messi has hinted at the possibility of returning to his boyhood club Newell’s Old Boys. The 34-year-old forward is considered one of the greatest footballers of all time and could potentially end his glittering career where it all started.

Meanwhile, Arsenal has reportedly opened talks with 21-year-old France centre-back William Saliba over a new contract. The Gunners have high hopes for Saliba and are keen to secure his future at the club.

In other news, Saudi Arabian side Al Nassr has made contact with the representatives of Sergio Ramos, the former Spain and Paris St-Germain defender. The 35-year-old is a free agent and could be on the move before the start of next season.

Liverpool is also said to be interested in Inter Milan midfielder Nicolo Barella. The 26-year-old Italy international has caught the eye of Liverpool scouts and could be a potential summer signing for the Anfield club.

Liverpool is also reportedly interested in signing Bayern Munich and Netherlands midfielder Ryan Gravenberch. The 20-year-old would join a young and exciting midfield alongside England and Borussia Dortmund’s Jude Bellingham, who is also on Liverpool’s radar.

In a surprising development, Chelsea owner Todd Boehly is reportedly considering buying French Ligue 1 side Strasbourg. This could be an interesting move for the American businessman and would add another dimension to his growing football empire.

A host of Premier League clubs, including Liverpool, Newcastle, Tottenham, and West Ham, are monitoring Mainz and Germany midfielder Anton Stach. The 24-year-old has impressed with his performances and could be the subject of a summer bidding war.

French forward Marcus Thuram, who will be out of contract with Borussia Monchengladbach in the summer, has been offered to Barcelona, Atletico Madrid, Chelsea, Inter Milan, Manchester United, and Paris St-Germain. The 25-year-old has attracted attention from several top clubs and could be on the move in the near future.

Newcastle United’s pursuit of Brazilian midfielder Matheus Franca suffered a setback as Flamengo rejected the Magpies’ £17.5m offer in January. The 18-year-old has since signed a new contract with the Brazilian side.

Finally, Fulham, Everton, Leicester, and West Ham are all interested in signing Roma and England defender Chris Smalling. The 33-year-old is a seasoned campaigner and could provide experience and leadership to any of the interested clubs.

That’s all for now, stay tuned for more transfer news and updates in the world of football.
