- Mario Lemina will undergo an assessment as he was substituted at halftime during the Wolves’ 2-1 defeat against Leicester.
- Sasa Kalajdzic and Chiquinho are confirmed to be absent for the hosts.
- Boubacar Traore’s fitness will be assessed closer to match time.
- Hwang Hee-Chan may replace Diego Costa in attack.
- Ruben Neves is expected to partner Joao Gomes in midfield.
- Sam Johnstone will remain in goal following his solid performance against Everton.
- Wilfried Zaha, Nathaniel Clyne and Nathan Ferguson all remain absent.
- Roy Hodgson may field the same starting XI that played against Everton in the previous match.

- Unai Emery’s side, Villarreal, will be without several key players, including Philippe Coutinho, Leon Bailey, Jed Steer, Matty Cash, and Boubacar Kamara.
- Despite the short turnaround in games, Emery will likely field an unchanged XI.
- Fulham’s Dan James is eligible for selection after being unable to play against his parent club, and he may start against Aston Villa.

Manchester United are reportedly stepping up their efforts to sign Tottenham Hotspur’s Harry Kane, as the 29-year-old England captain is expected to leave his boyhood club.
- United are willing to increase Kane’s current £200,000-a-week contract at Spurs to £300,000 if they sign him.
- The club is also trying to offer £300,000-a-week to fellow England forward Marcus Rashford to keep him at Old Trafford.
Crystal Palace are trying to keep their Ivory Coast forward Wilfried Zaha, despite interest from Arsenal, Chelsea, and Paris St-Germain.
- Zaha has been offered a new contract worth £200,000 a week by Crystal Palace to convince him to stay.
