- Manchester United is set to propose a bid for Rasmus Hojlund, a 20-year-old striker from Denmark who currently plays for Atalanta.
- Sofyan Amrabat, a 26-year-old Moroccan midfielder from Fiorentina, has agreed to a five-year deal with Manchester United.
- Inter Milan has proposed a 15m euros bid for Emiliano Martinez, a 30-year-old Argentine goalkeeper from Aston Villa, following Andre Onana’s transfer to Manchester United.
- West Ham has made a £40m bid for Conor Gallagher, a 23-year-old English midfielder from Chelsea.
- Manchester United is considering Randal Kolo Muani, a 24-year-old French striker from Eintracht Frankfurt, and Mohammed Kudus, a 22-year-old Ghanaian forward from Ajax, who has also been linked with Chelsea.
- Erik ten Hag, Manchester United’s manager, is open to selling several fringe players to raise funds for a high-profile striker.
- Ten Hag is also considering strengthening Manchester United’s goalkeeping backup with Altay Bayindir, a 25-year-old Turkish international from Fenerbahce.
- Chelsea, Manchester United, and Tottenham are expected to compete for Kylian Mbappe, a 24-year-old French striker, after Paris St-Germain received a record £259m bid from Al-Hilal, a Saudi Arabian team.
- Al-Hilal plans to offer Mbappe a net salary of 200m euros per year and allow him to retain 100% of his image rights.
- If Mbappe transfers to Al-Hilal, it might only be for a year, as PSG believes that Real Madrid’s president Florentino Perez and Mbappe have an agreement for him to transfer to La Liga next year.
- Barcelona has denied any plans to acquire Mbappe despite rumors of discussions with PSG.
- If Mbappe moves to Saudi Arabia, PSG is prepared to meet Tottenham’s £100m valuation for Harry Kane, a 29-year-old English striker. However, Bayern Munich remains confident that Kane will choose them.
- Al-Hilal is nearing a deal with Aleksandar Mitrovic, a 28-year-old Serbian striker from Fulham.
- Jordan Henderson, a 33-year-old English midfielder, has bid farewell to his Liverpool teammates and staff ahead of his move to Al-Ettifaq, a Saudi club.
- Folarin Balogun, a 22-year-old American striker, trained alone during Arsenal’s pre-season tour of the USA, with Inter Milan preparing a £35m bid.
- Everton is close to signing El Bilal Toure, a 21-year-old Malian striker from Almeria, despite competition from Atalanta.
- West Ham has offered Southampton £25m for James Ward-Prowse, a 28-year-old English midfielder.
- Chelsea’s attempts to sign Moises Caicedo, a 21-year-old Ecuadorian midfielder from Brighton, have stalled due to Brighton’s demand for Levi Colwill, a 20-year-old defender, to be included in the deal.
- Tottenham and Nottingham Forest have approached Juventus about Andrea Cambiaso, a 23-year-old Italian defender.
- Manchester United plans to extend the contract of Aaron Wan-Bissaka, a 25-year-old English defender, after deciding not to pursue Denzel Dumfries, a 27-year-old Dutch right-back from Inter Milan.
- Hamza Choudhury, a 25-year-old midfielder from Leicester City, wants his long-term future settled before the start of the season amid interest from Southampton.
