  • Jonny Evans was forced off early in Leicester’s 4-0 win over Newcastle with a hamstring injury and is not expected to return here. Caglar Soyuncu is also ruled out leaving Leicester with no fit centre-backs.
  • 17-year-old Ben Nelson was on the bench last weekend but Brendan Rodgers would rather come up with an alternative to throwing him in at centre-back against Tottenham.
  • Wilfred Ndidi will certainly have to play at the back and Rodgers may go with a back three with two full-backs in with him. Far from ideal.
  • Jamie Vardy was an unused sub at the weekend, but should start here, while Ryan Bertrand and Ricardo Pereira may come into the XI.
  • Ayoze Perez, Kelechi Iheanacho and Ademola Lookman are among those ruled out.
  • Lucas Moura, Son Heung-Min and Bryan Gil are among those who have tested positive for COVID-19, leaving Tottenham a little short in attack.
  • Oliver Skipp and Emerson have also tested positive, so Harry Winks and Japhet Tanganga are expected to start.
  • Giovani Lo Celso and Steven Bergwijn may both feature from the outset here.
