  • Jack Stephens is facing a three-month spell on the sidelines in a blow for Southampton.
  • Mohammed Salisu should come into the side as a result after summer signing Lyanco had a debut to forget on Tuesday.
  • As Romain Perraud started in midweek, Kyle Walker-Peters should get the nod at left-back here.
  • Shane Long returned on Tuesday after a spell out with COVID but isn’t considered a starter.
  • Stuart Armstrong and Theo Walcott are still injury concerns for Southampton.
  • Not that he would have played, but Yerson Mosquera is sidelined for several moths after coming off in the first half against Tottenham in midweek.
  • Rayan Ait-Nouri suffered concussion in midweek and is also unavailable for Wolves, not that he would have started anyway.

  • Granit Xhaka is back from suspension and is expected to partner Thomas Partey in midfield.
  • Nicolas Pepe may drop to the bench as a result to push Emile Smith Rowe into the front line.
  • Kieran Tierney is a doubt for the home side, but is expected to recover in time for Sunday’s derby.
  • Steven Bergwijn is still sidelined and it sounds like he won’t be back anytime soon. Ryan Sessegnon is also unavailable but Lucas Moura is back.
  • Oliver Skipp was used from the bench against Chelsea last week and is set to return to the side at the expense of Tanguy Ndombele.
  • Santo may revert to a 4-3-3 setup, with Harry Kane leading the charge having played a more reserved role against Chelsea.
