01/03/2023 Football Gossip & News

The summer transfer window is still a few months away, but the rumour mill is already in full swing.

Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag is reportedly eyeing at least two big-name signings, with Napoli’s Victor Osimhen and Ajax’s Mohammed Kudus among his targets. The 24-year-old Nigerian striker and the 22-year-old Ghanaian attacking midfielder have impressed with their performances and could add much-needed depth to the Red Devils’ squad.

However, Manchester United’s takeover bid may hit a snag, as current owners the Glazers, are said to be demanding a higher fee of £6bn for the club. This could potentially delay the sale and leave the club in a state of uncertainty.

Chelsea are also reportedly on the lookout for a new manager, with Roberto de Zerbi emerging as a potential replacement for under-fire Graham Potter. The 43-year-old Italian, who took over from Potter at Brighton, could bring a new dynamic to the team and reinvigorate the squad.

Meanwhile, Manchester City are considering a move for Chelsea midfielder Mateo Kovacic, who will have one year left on his contract this summer. The 28-year-old Croatian has impressed with his performances and could be a valuable addition to City’s already star-studded midfield.

City is also reportedly interested in Chelsea left-back Ben Chilwell, who could provide some much-needed competition for Oleksandr Zinchenko. The 26-year-old has had a solid season for Chelsea, and his attacking prowess could be a valuable asset for Pep Guardiola’s team.

In other transfer news, Barcelona has reportedly beaten Arsenal to the signing of Athletico Paranaense’s Vitor Roque, with the Brazilian forward keen to join the Spanish giants. Meanwhile, Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig are said to be interested in signing Liverpool midfielder Naby Keita when his contract expires this summer.

Finally, there are reports that Real Madrid’s top targets this summer are Borussia Dortmund’s Jude Bellingham and RB Leipzig’s Josko Gvardiol. The Spanish giants are said to be preparing to make big moves in the transfer market as they look to rebuild their squad for the future.

As always, the transfer window promises to be an exciting time for football fans, and it will be interesting to see which players end up where come the end of the season.
