  • A series of exciting moves are brewing in the football world:
    • Inter Miami has proposed a four-season deal worth 50 million euros per year to Lionel Messi, the 35-year-old Argentine forward who’s set to leave Paris St-Germain this summer.
    • Karim Benzema, the 35-year-old former French forward, is expected to join Al-Ittihad of Saudi Arabia after his contract with Real Madrid expires this month.
    • Luka Modric, the 37-year-old Croatian midfielder, is considering a lucrative 120 million euro offer to play in Saudi Arabia for the next three seasons.
    • Newcastle United is looking to challenge Manchester United for the acquisition of Victor Osimhen, the 24-year-old Nigerian striker currently with Napoli.
    • Manchester United is reportedly gearing up to make an official bid for Mason Mount, Chelsea’s 24-year-old English midfielder.
    • Declan Rice, the 24-year-old English midfielder currently with West Ham, is likely to reject a move to Bayern Munich in favor of staying in the Premier League. Both Arsenal and Manchester United are interested.
    • RB Leipzig may be open to selling Croatian defender Josko Gvardiol, who has a release clause of 114 million euros. Manchester City is keen on the 21-year-old.
    • Mateo Kovacic, the 29-year-old Croatian midfielder of Chelsea, is on the verge of signing with Manchester City.
  • As for managerial changes:
    • Ange Postecoglou, currently managing Celtic, might be named Tottenham’s new boss in the coming week.
