03/03/2023 Football Gossip & News

Real Madrid is considering the future of two of their midfield stalwarts, Luka Modric and Toni Kroos, before making a move for England’s young star Jude Bellingham. The 19-year-old midfielder has been urged to reject Liverpool’s advances, but Madrid is keeping tabs on Newcastle’s Brazilian midfielder Bruno Guimaraes as a potential alternative option.

Liverpool, on the other hand, could be the frontrunners to sign Chelsea’s Mason Mount this summer if the 24-year-old midfielder fails to agree on a new contract. Meanwhile, Chelsea has renewed their interest in RB Leipzig’s Josko Gvardiol, who Manchester City and Tottenham are closely monitoring.

Inter Milan is hoping to secure the signing of Liverpool’s Naby Keita when his contract expires this summer, and Lyon’s Houssem Aouar is close to signing for Eintracht Frankfurt on a free transfer after turning down Manchester United.

Barcelona, who is struggling financially, may need to sell some of their biggest stars, with Brazilian winger Raphinha among the players who could be offloaded. Manchester United, Chelsea, and Arsenal are keeping tabs on Southampton’s young midfielder Romeo Lavia, while Tottenham is eyeing a summer move for Bristol City’s Alex Scott.

Leicester and Everton are monitoring Bologna and Scotland’s midfielder Lewis Ferguson, while Nottingham Forest could lose their boss Steve Cooper next season to one of the Premier League clubs impressed by his managerial skills.

In other news, Manchester United is negotiating with David de Gea to renew his contract. The club has received loan enquiries from clubs in Turkey for their young forward Mason Greenwood, who the club still suspends although having criminal charges against him dropped in February. Napoli remains confident of keeping hold of Georgia winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia despite interest from Manchester City, Chelsea, Real Madrid, and Barcelona. Finally, Fulham wants to make Shakhtar Donetsk’s Israel winger Manor Solomon’s loan move permanent this summer.
