04/03/2023 Football Gossip & News

West Ham United, the London-based club, is reportedly keeping a close eye on Manchester United’s Harry Maguire, Scott McTominay, and Anthony Martial. Maguire, who is the England national team’s captain, is a stalwart in the heart of Manchester United’s defense. McTominay, the Scottish midfielder, has been a consistent performer for the Red Devils over the past few seasons. Martial, the French forward, has struggled with form and injuries this season but has shown flashes of brilliance in the past.

In Major League Soccer news, commissioner Don Garber has stated that landing Lionel Messi, the Argentina and Paris St-Germain forward, would require a creative, David Beckham-like deal. While Inter Miami, the MLS team owned by Beckham, and the league are willing to be flexible, it remains to be seen if Messi would be willing to make the move across the pond.

Emile Smith Rowe, the 22-year-old England midfielder, may be on the move this summer as Arsenal is reportedly willing to sell him. Smith Rowe has shown promise in his limited game time for the Gunners and could be a valuable addition to many Premier League sides.

Three Italian giants, AC Milan, Inter Milan, and Juventus, are on high alert after Liverpool announced that Roberto Firmino will be leaving the club. The Brazilian forward has been an integral part of Liverpool’s success over the past few years and would be a valuable addition to any of the three Italian sides.

Bayern Munich is reportedly pushing ahead with an offer to sign Harry Kane, the England striker from Tottenham, despite signing Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting to a new contract. Kane has been in scintillating form this season and is widely regarded as one of the best strikers in world football.

Tottenham, on the other hand, is considering Aston Villa’s Emiliano Martinez as a potential successor to Hugo Lloris in goal. Martinez has been in excellent form for Villa this season and has established himself as one of the Premier League’s top goalkeepers.

In other news, Chelsea’s owners reportedly do not see Romelu Lukaku as part of their ongoing project, despite the club’s struggles in front of goal. Paris St-Germain’s Leandro Paredes, currently on loan to Juventus, is expected to return to the French capital at the end of the season. Atletico Madrid is set to offer Athletic Bilbao’s Inigo Martinez a deal this summer, while Manchester United is reportedly monitoring Roma’s Tammy Abraham.

Liverpool has joined the race to sign RB Leipzig’s Josko Gvardiol, while Aston Villa, Everton, and West Ham are set for a three-way transfer battle over Flamengo’s Pedro. Meanwhile, Graham Potter’s future as Chelsea’s manager is in doubt, with the board split over his performance this season.
