Meanwhile, Manchester City is said to be eyeing Croatia defender Josko Gvardiol from RB Leipzig, with rumors circulating that they may be willing to sell 28-year-old Spanish defender Aymeric Laporte, who is attracting interest from Paris St-Germain. This has prompted City to look for a possible replacement in Gvardiol, who is only 21 years old.
In other transfer news, French midfielder Adrien Rabiot has been identified by Manchester City as a potential replacement for 32-year-old Germany international Ilkay Gundogan, who has been linked with a move to Barcelona. Meanwhile, Ivory Coast midfielder Franck Kessie has been linked with a move away from Barcelona, but the Spanish club has no intention of selling the 26-year-old.
Lastly, Liverpool’s Brazil forward Roberto Firmino has reportedly decided to leave the club when his contract runs out in the summer. According to his agent, the 31-year-old has not spoken to any other clubs yet, but it remains to be seen where he will end up next.
