West Bromwich Albion manager, Slaven Bilic, is considering making some changes to his team’s starting lineup for their upcoming match against Watford. Here are the possible tweaks he could make:
- Imran Louza and Matheus Martins may replace two players who started the game against Burnley.
- Unfortunately, Tom Cleverley won’t be available for the Hornets’ visit due to a significant thigh injury he sustained after returning from a previous injury.
- Carlos Corberan, the head coach of Huddersfield Town, has some options to boost his squad’s performance as they prepare to face Birmingham City. He could bring back three players who were on the bench in their previous game:
- Jayson Molumby
- Daryl Dike
- Grady Diangana
- The Baggies’ goalkeeper situation is still uncertain, as Bilic has preferred Joshua Griffiths over David Button in recent games. Griffiths likely will likely keep his spot between the sticks, but Button could be given a chance if Bilic decides to rotate.

RB Leipzig and Croatia centre-back Josko Gvardiol, who is only 21 years old, has expressed his desire to play in the Premier League. He claims to have been close to signing for Leeds United in 2020 and could have also joined Chelsea last summer. Gvardiol is a promising young talent, and his aspirations to play in the Premier League have certainly piqued the interest of several clubs in England.
Meanwhile, Chelsea owner Todd Boehly has no intention of sacking manager Graham Potter despite the Blues’ recent defeat to Southampton. This news may relieve Potter, who has been under increasing pressure following the team’s inconsistent performances this season.
Barcelona are reportedly keeping tabs on Manchester City and Spain midfielder Rodri ahead of the summer transfer window. The Catalan giants are said to be willing to offer £80m for the 26-year-old, who has been a key player for Manchester City this season.
Tottenham are considering bringing back former manager Mauricio Pochettino as a potential replacement for Antonio Conte if the Italian leaves the club at the end of the season. Pochettino enjoyed a successful spell at Tottenham between 2014 and 2019 and is currently managing Paris Saint-Germain.
Newcastle United are keeping a close eye on Arsenal and Scotland defender Kieran Tierney, who is 25 years old. The Scottish international has been impressive for Arsenal this season and could be a valuable addition to Newcastle’s backline.
Liverpool’s pursuit of Borussia Dortmund’s England midfielder Jude Bellingham and Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount could depend on their success in the Champions League. Both players are highly sought-after and have been in excellent form for their respective clubs this season.
The Glazer family, who are the current owners of Manchester United, have been offered financial backing by American hedge fund Elliott Management. This comes after the New York-based group expressed an interest in investing in the club. It remains to be seen if the Glazer family will accept this offer.
Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has prioritized securing a new contract for England forward Marcus Rashford, who has been in excellent form for the club this season. Inter Milan are reportedly leading the race to sign Borussia Monchengladbach and France forward Marcus Thuram, ahead of Manchester United and Bayern Munich.
Finally, Chelsea and Tottenham are reportedly considering a summer move for Brighton’s Republic of Ireland forward Evan Ferguson, who is only 18 years old. Sevilla are also said to be interested in securing a loan deal for Manchester City’s Spanish full-back Sergio Gomez, who is 22 years old.
