• Manchester United is prepared to spend £55m for Chelsea’s midfielder, Mason Mount, and aims to secure his services before Liverpool and Arsenal do​¹​.
• A discussion regarding Mount’s future at Chelsea is scheduled with the club’s executives next week​¹​.
• If Chelsea decides to sell Mount, he is inclined towards joining Manchester United​¹​.
• England manager, Gareth Southgate, has voiced his concerns about the limited game time for Manchester United defender, Harry Maguire, and Manchester City midfielder, Kalvin Phillips, especially with the upcoming Euro qualifiers​¹​.
• Aston Villa is leading the pack to sign Harvey Barnes, Leicester City’s 25-year-old English winger​¹​.
• West Ham shows interest in signing Barnes and Leeds United’s Jack Harrison, 26-year-old English winger​¹​.
• West Ham plans to retain David Moyes as their manager and back him by targeting Fulham’s Joao Palhinha, as a potential replacement for Declan Rice​¹​.
