  • Barcelona has its sights set on Brazilian midfielder Bruno Guimaraes. However, it is believed that a transfer fee of approximately 100 million euros would be necessary to persuade Newcastle United to part ways with the 25-year-old player.
  • Real Madrid is contemplating a move for Brazilian forward Roberto Firmino, who is 31 years old. Firmino’s contract with Liverpool is set to expire this summer, making him a free agent.
  • Mauricio Pochettino, the former Tottenham and Paris St-Germain manager, has accepted a three-year contract to become the new head coach of Chelsea.
  • Brazil is keen to rope in Carlo Ancelotti, the current Real Madrid boss, as their next head coach. The country has been on the hunt for a manager since Tite’s departure following the World Cup in Qatar.
  • James Maddison, a 26-year-old England midfielder, is expected to be the first of many to leave Leicester following their demotion from the Premier League.
  • Leeds, who have also been relegated, will be open to offers for English winger Jack Harrison, aged 26.
  • Liverpool might be in a position to acquire Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic for a sum of 26 million euros. The 28-year-old player from Serbia is under contract until 2024​1​.
  • Speculations about the future of Napoli’s manager Luciano Spalletti have intensified, potentially improving Manchester United’s chances of signing South Korean defender Kim Min-jae and Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen from Napoli. Both players are 26 and 24 years old respectively.
  • Newcastle United has also expressed interest in Napoli’s defender Kim Min-jae.
  • Sheffield United is keeping a close eye on Lewis O’Brien, the 24-year-old English midfielder currently on loan at DC United from Nottingham Forest.
  • Chilean forward Alexis Sanchez, aged 34, is interested in returning to the Premier League. Sanchez had previous stints with Arsenal and Manchester United before moving to Marseille​1​.
