- Matheus Cunha has joined from Atletico Madrid, but the deal won’t be confirmed until January 1st, so he can’t play here.
- Daniel Podence, Jonny and Boubacar Traore will be assessed, but Pedro Neto, Sasa Kalajdzic and Chiquinho miss out.
- Adama Traore, Goncalo Guedes, Matheus Nunes and Wolves’ Boxing Day match winner Rayan Ait-Nouri may all start here.
- Jadon Sancho misses out, so too does Axel Tuanzebe, but Lisandro Martinez is back in training following Argentina’s World Cup success.
- Victor Lindelof and Scott McTominay missed the 3-0 win over Nottingham Forest due to illness and will be assessed.
- Erik ten Hag may make minimal changes to his XI here.
