Championship Playoffs 22/5/2021 – Brentford v Bournemouth
- Brentford boss Thomas Frank could recall left-back Rico Henry, who returned to the bench on Monday following a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
- One other change is on the cards for the hosts with Bryan Mbeumo pushing to replace Tarique Fosu-Henry.
- Henrik Dalsgaard is available for selection but is unlikely to oust first-choice right-back Mads Rasmussen.
- Experienced centre-back Steve Cook will undergo a scan on a knee injury sustained in the first leg, but is unlikely to feature for the rest of the playoff campaign.
- Chris Mepham will be the man to replace Cook at the back on Saturday afternoon.
- Adam Smith should keep his place at right-back ahead of Jack Stacey.
- Expect Jonathan Woodgate to name an elsewhere unchanged starting XI following an impressive display at the Vitality Stadium.

- Steve Cooper could opt for an unchanged starting XI on Saturday evening as his side look to go one better than last season’s playoff semi-final exit.
- Kyle Naughton should be preferred to the more attacking Connor Roberts given the first-leg scoreline.
- Liam Cullen struggled to make an impact against the more physical Michal Helik and Mads Andersen in the first leg, but should keep his place ahead of Wayne Routledge.
- One change is expected from Valerien Ismael this weekend with Carlton Morris likely to start ahead of Dominik Frieser after the former impressed from the bench on Monday.
- Centre-back Toby Sibbick impressed in the first leg and should keep his place ahead of Michael Sollbauer.
- Ben Williams remains the away side’s only confirmed absentee for the trip to south Wales.
Sunderland v Lincoln
- Needing to overturn a two-goal deficit, Lee Johnson might start an attacking team at the Stadium of Light, which could see the likes of Jack Diamond, Grant Leadbitter and Chris Maguire start.
- Michael Appleton has no fresh injury concerns and therefore should stick with the same side that started the first leg.
