• Eberechi Eze and Nathan Ferguson remain sidelined for Crystal Palace, but Michael Olise is close to a return to fitness after sustaining a back injury.
• Luka Milivojevic is also hoping to return to first team action in this London derby.
• Will Hughes and Odsonne Edouard both joined Palace prior to last week’s transfer deadline and the pair will hope to make their debut for the Eagles here.

• We could see an immediate debut for Emerson Royal having trained this week, with Japhet Tanganga moving to his favoured centre-back position.
• That’s because Cristian Romero and Davinson Sanchez, as well as Giovani Lo Celso, need to quarantine after travelling to South America for their World Cup qualifiers, while all three face fines after breaching a club request to not play.
• Tanguy Ndombele will also not play any part for Spurs in their trip to Crystal Palace as question marks over his future at club loom.
• Ryan Sessegnon has pulled out of the England U21 squad and will be assessed, while Oliver Skipp sustained a suspected groin injury on international duty and could miss out.
• Son Heung-Min was ruled out of South Korea’s World Cup qualifying meeting with Lebanon owing to a calf strain and Steven Bergwijn has also picked up a minor injury, so Bryan Gil could come in for his first start, along with a return for Lucas Moura.

• Cristiano Ronaldo is expected to make his second Manchester United debut from the off on Saturday after returning early from Portugal duty.
• Jadon Sancho is a doubt after withdrawing from the England squad with a minor knock, with Jesse Lingard and Anthony Martial vying to replace him in the side.
• With Scott McTominay only recently returning to training following an injury, Donny van de Beek will be desperate for a rare chance to start in midfield, though Fred is now available after Premier League clubs agreed to defy the FIFA ban imposed against their South American players this weekend.

• Newcastle will hope to have recovered Isaac Hayden over the international break, but his usual midfield partner, Jonjo Shelvey, is ruled out.

• Romelu Lukaku revealed on Monday he needs a scan on a lingering thigh problem but has since been ruled fit to feature against Aston Villa on Saturday.
• Thomas Tuchel will need to make one enforced change to his XI as Reece James is suspended, with Cesar Azpilicueta potentially moving to right wing-back and Thiago Silva, a half time introduction at Anfield.
• N’Golo Kante and Christian Pulisic have been ruled out, so Saul Niguez is in line to make the matchday squad, if not make his full Chelsea debut this weekend.

• Key pair Emiliano Buendia and Emiliano Martinez miss the trip to Chelsea as they have had to quarantine following the international break, spending the time training in Croatia rather than in a hotel in England.
• Dean Smith will have Jacob Ramsey, Ezri Konsa and Leon Bailey available for the trip to Chelsea, with the latter in line to make his first start for the club.
• John McGinn and Tyrone Mings both featured for Scotland and England, respectively, during the international break and will be fit to start at Stamford Bridge.
• Ollie Watkins made his first appearance from the bench ahead of the international break and should be fit to start for the first time, in partnership with Danny Ings.
