Everton v West Ham United
- Everton have no fresh injury concerns of note but Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed James Rodriguez is still out.
- Lucas Digne, Fabian Delph, Jean-Philippe Gbamin and Allan all remain sidelined, but Richarlison is available again after missing the Boxing Day win over Sheffield United.
- David Moyes is without only Arthur Masuaku for the New Year’s Day trip to Everton.
- Moyes could keep faith with Craig Dawson at the heart of the defence after a solid showing in the 0-0 draw with Southampton.
- However, the West Ham boss is tipped to make a couple of changes, with Said Benrahma, Jarrod Bowen, Vladimir Coufal and Jarrod Bowen set to return to the side.
Manchester United v Aston Villa
- Marcus Rashford and Aaron Wan-Bissaka both recovered from injury to start Manchester United’s 1-0 win over Wolves on Tuesday night.
- Victor Lindelof missed out with a back problem and remains a doubt for their New Year’s Day fixture with high-flying Aston Villa.
- Ole Gunnar Solskjar will shuffle his pack from the win at Wolves, with Luke Shaw, Fred, Scott McTominay and Anthony Martial all returning to the starting XI.
- Edinson Cavani has been banned for three matches by the FA starting with Friday’s home game with Villa.
- Tyrone Mings will return to the starting XI after missing Aston Villa’s 1-1 draw with Chelsea in midweek through suspension.
- Ross Barkley hasn’t featured since the end of November but could return here to provide Villa’s midfield with fresh legs.
