At 14:05, on Sky Sports Main Event, is West Ham United v Leicester City. Also on Sky Sports Main Event, at 16:30, is Tottenham Hotspur v Manchester United. At 19:00, on BT Sport 1, is Sheffield United v Arsenal.
Premier League & Others 11/4/2021 – Burnley v Newcastle
- Charlie Taylor returned from injury against Southampton last weekend in a timely boost as Erik Pieters limped off. Centre-back Kevin Long is also a doubt for the home side.
- Jack Cork didn’t get off the bench against former club Southampton. With another week on the training ground under his belt he should be fine to even start here.
- Matej Vydra and Chris Wood were both on the scoresheet last weekend, so Jay Rodriguez may have to settle for a place on the bench once more here.
- Steve Bruce has revealed Jamaal Lascelles is out with a small stress fracture in his foot but confirms both Callum Wilson, Federico Fernandez and Allan Saint-Maximin have managed to train all week.
- Martin Dubravka overcame illness to start for Newcastle against Tottenham, while Allan Saint-Maximin managed 20 minutes from the bench.
- Bruce understandably went with a back five against Tottenham but may revert to a back four for the trip to Turf Moor on Sunday.
- Ryan Fraser has been ruled out for Newcastle, while Andy Carroll faces a late fitness test.
Premier League & Others 11/4/2021 – West Ham United v Leicester City
- Michail Antonio came off in Monday’s 3-2 win over Wolves with a hamstring injury and is unlikely to recover in time, with Jarrod Bowen set to lead the line in his absence.
- David Moyes at least has Pablo Fornals back from injury, while Arthur Masuaku also returned last time out.
- Captain Mark Noble will continue in midfield with key man Declan Rice out for the next four weeks at the very least.
- Ricardo Pereira and James Maddison both returned from injury as substitutes in defeat to Manchester City last time out. Both will push for starts here.
- Çaglar Soyuncu tested positive upon his return from international duty with Turkey and is highly unlikely to be available to face West Ham.
Premier League & Others 11/4/2021 – Tottenham v Manchester United
- Full-back pair Ben Davies and Matt Doherty are ruled out, though neither would have started if fit.
- Toby Alderweireld and Serge Aurier both missed their COVID-19 tests following international duty and sat out the 2-2 draw at Newcastle as a result.
- Jose Mourinho is expected to bring Son Heung-Min back into the XI at the expense of Carlos Vinicius, which should see Harry Kane lead the attack in a 4-2-3-1.
- Eric Bailly tested positive for COVID-19 last week and misses out, joining Phil Jones and Anthony Martial on the sidelines.
- Ole Gunnar Solskjaer could name the same XI that started the 2-1 win over Brighton last week.
- That would see Dean Henderson continue in goal, with David De Gea now second choice behind the 24-year-old.
- Sheffield United are following concussion protocols but hope to have George Baldock and Jayden Bogle available here. The absence of both would give them a serious problem at right wing-back.
- With Bogle and Baldock sidelined, Sheffield United have no recognised right-back so someone is going to have to play out of position here.
- The Blades at least have John Egan and Enda Stevens back from injury but Chris Basham remains a doubt for the home side. Ethan Ampadu should return to the XI here.
- Knee injuries will keep defensive duo Kieran Tierney and David Luiz out against Sheffield United on Sunday.
- Granit Xhaka, Bukayo Saka and Emile Smith Rowe all returned to first-team action on Thursday in a boost for Arsenal.
- Martin Odegaard wasn’t risked on Thursday owing to an ankle injury picked up during the international break. He remains a doubt here.
- Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was only a substitute on Thursday but will likely be recalled against Sheffield United.
- It wouldn’t be a surprise if Mikel Arteta held a couple of players back on Sunday with an eye on the return leg against Slavia Prague on Thursday.
